Final story
Small stones fell off the mountain as if they were afraid of something up there. Steven and Mike looked miniscule compared to the massive mountain. “I guess we’re here.” Steven said. Mike gave a small grin as if they accomplished something fairly simple. Their journey for the sword took longer than they thought.
“We have to find the opening in the mountain.” Mike exclaimed with a serious tone.
“What are we waiting for, let’s get going.” replied Steven.
This set their journey off. In the first hour they went a third around the mountain and successfully found the entrance to the maze. They started climbing. Most of the rocks weren't stable and when stepped on crumbled. This mountain was created by the eruption of the volcano on the top. The lava spilled and a layer of fragile pumice covered the ground. After a while of walking they needed a break. They found a rather flat space and sat down. Their shirts got blackened because of the dust that was created by the volcano. Steve looked at Mike’s short black hair and took in his facial features.
Why, was the main word in his mind. Why him? Why is he doing this? Why was he here? All these emotions burst out and he just had to ask. “Why are you doing this?”
“I don’t know really, but I have had these weird dreams lately. They told me that i should find you and.. And here we are. It started not too long ago actually, a week or so before we met up” Mike replied.
“I also had these dreams, they come up once in awhile." Steve answered.
"Do they tell you anything?"
"No, they're really just images but once they happen they just don’t want to leave my head”
A rumble from the inside of the mountain stopped their conversation. They thought that something
might’ve been happening so they left as soon as possible. They put the half eaten sandwiches in their bags and set off. They walked for what felt like a mile before they reached the mouth of this cave.
They entered the cave with massive walls of rock surrounding them. The masses of rocks were glittering from the water that gathered on the ceiling. Little beads of water dripped down their shirt moistening them on the way. They walked and all of a sudden two corridors blocked their way.
“Which way should we go?” Mike asked.
“I dont think we can split up because something might be waiting for us there.” Steven replied.
“Let’s just go right. Anyway, if we run into something we could run back to the left.” Mike exclaimed.
“Let’s go!” Steven said enthusiastically.
They ran into the right corridor. The walls were moist and filled with mosses of different kinds. They made a makeshift torch out of their cotton shirts and a stick they found. They went right, left, right again. An endless path of corridors faced them and made the lose any of their hopes. As they were walking Steve felt something on his back. Mike used his torch to see the back of Steve. Mike saw something that he never seen before. 8 thick hairy legs held its body up but the only thing that they were concentrated on were the two fangs which were glistening in the torch light. It was a massive spider.
“Dont move!” Mike said sternly
“Wha…” exclaimed Steven.
“Keep calm!” Mike said again.
With a slash of the torch the spider flew off onto the ground. Then with a more powerful strike with the torchrch , Mike killed the spider. During this, due to his sweaty hand he dropped the torch and set the moss alight. The spider was dead at least. They had to run. They didn't bother trying to light it out. The flames spread very swiftly after them. Breathing got a harder as the fire’s lungs filled up more and more. They run as fast as they could making quick decisions to where to go. As they freed themselves from the fire’s reach they walked not ran because of how exhausted they were. They walked through a couple of corridors and with luck, a light showed itself in front of the guys. They walked forward until they reached a final corridor. As they progressed through the corridor, it started shrinking to an almost inhuman size. They finally reached the final stretch of the corridor.
The smell of rotting bodies which instantly reached their noses was so powerful they needed to cover their noses. They ripped some of the fabric off of their shirt sleeves and wrapped it around their heads and noses. This benefited them a lot as something upcoming was about to get dangerous. A massive shreik like an eagle's but almost being like a lion's roar at the same time.
They were in trouble. With a quick motion of the wrist their 10 inch army knives went out of the pockets of their bags. The knives gleamed in the light which already enterd the cave through long holes in the top. They got into a ready stance to protect themselves from any incoming attacks. A massive creature with the body of a lion and a head of an eagle arose from the wet floor. Its legs pushed against the ground with power unimaginable for a human being. They were almost like pistons squashing meta into different shapes. It’s wings powerful, with feathers as sharp as razors. It stood up and took a second to look at it’s opponents. It got into a posture ready to strike. With a few powerful flaps of the wings it covered more than 15 meters in a second. The griffon’s eyes stood out the most. They were red with fury as if they were disrupted by their presence. It’s wings powerful but fragile carrying it closer with every seconds.
With a quick strike, Mike cut the creature's leg really close to its wings. It was limping. "Let's go!" screamed Mike but he said it too soon. With its powerful legs it hit the wall and the stalactites fell off the ceiling. Unfortunately for Mike, the stalactites were perfectly placed above his head. Steve shouted to watch out. With a last attempt to escape the rocks, Mike used the remaining force in his legs and tried to leap out of danger. However it was far too late. One of them crushed the shin with its large weight. With a terrific scream of pain, Mike fell to the ground.
Steve threw the knife at the beast to buy himself some time. He went over to Mike and "I need to finish this off myself. You can't."
"Do it for me." Mike said. As Steve started to go to mike said "If I don't make it tell my family i will miss them."
With a heart pumped with fire and little traces of tears down his cheeks, he went into battle.
He ran at it with an attempt to intimidate it but a beast like the griffon was never going to get scared at a running boy. He got another cut on the legs but on the other side. This was his chance. He ran off the wall at it but with a powerful strike from the beak. It threw him a couple meters away. It was weakened. If Steve didn't take this opportunity the chances of their survival would completely fall too a zero. He ran at it with a scream and with a final blow to the neck he killed the beast.

Later on it turns out he has powers that he didn't know he had. This man tells him this on that alley. Next an organisation called BZR tries to capture and kill him because he has his powers. This organisation is from a different dimention which they took over. They took over that dimention and now they came for us. He has to travel with this man to that dimension to infiltrate and comfront the leader of the 'organisation' in that dimension. The leaders name is Olum.The way to destroy this organisation is to kill the leader with the blade of life. They have to go find this weapon and then kill the leader. The weapon is guarded by a griffon, which is normally good, but is controlled by the organisation by a secret potion. They used this potion to control the organisation on earth. the sword is hidden in the center of a maze hidden in a mountain. He kills the griffon and gets the sword. Rise of action. Wife of Bath's tale.
Folk tale.
A folk tale is set in a realistic environment with normal people, it has magical elements and a lesson at the end. The wife of bath has all of these features and it is a folk tale. There are normal charcters such as Amanda and Sir Codsbrain at the time. It is set in a plain and a castle. The lesson in the story is that women most desire power and it is better to love someone properly than just love anyone pretty. Something magical happens when the old lady changes in to a beautiful young lady. Most of the characters are normal because they are just normal folk and just people with no super powers or magic. A plain and a castle was a normal environment at the time. The old lady uses her powers to transform into a beautiful young lady. He learns this lesson by having to listen to everything the queen Guinevere. He also learns that loving someone ugly can work out very well by having to marry tha old lady who turns into a beautiful lady. Because of all these features like it's normal folk, elements of magic and a lesson at the end of the story, the Wife of Bath's tale is a folk tale.

The nuns priest's tale
Fable
A fable has mostly animal charcters, which can usually talk, and a moral throughout the story. The Nuns Priest's tale has both of these features and therefore is a fable. The characters are a talking cock called Chaunticleer, a hen called Pertelote and a fox named Sir. Russel Fox. In the story Chaunticleer says "No fear! I'll see us both damned first!", Pertelote says "Oh Chaunticleer, your dream came true..." and Sir Russell Fox says "Shucks! I'd better go and raid some dustbins!". At the end the moral is to be careful against flatterers and to keep your mouth shut when it's not supposed to be open. This story is a fable because of it's talking animal characters such as Chaunticleer, Pertelote and Sir Russell Fox and a lesson at the end, which is to be careful against flattery and to not open your mouth when it's supposed to be closed. Knight's Tale
Chivalric Romance
A chivalric romance has love, and chivalric Knights. The knight's tale has both of these features and therefore it is a chivalric romance. Palamon and Arcite fall in love with Emily. It is Love at first sight. There's a joust at the end. The more romantic knight and therefore the most chivalric knight wins. This means that the story is a Chivalric romance because there are two chivalric knights who fight for the affection of Emily. Palamon and Arcite are chivalric Knights because if they were not, they would beat each other for their love for Emily and they would tell on each other that one of them escaped. The most chivalric knight loses the battle but wins the affection of Emily. Arcite wanted to beat Palamon to Emily while Palamon just wanted Emily therefore he is the most chivalric knight.There is love, there's a joust which decides on the fate of Emily and the two Knight. The Pardoner's Tale.
The pardoner's tale is a morality tale because of it's moral at the end and it's human characters. The Moral of the story is not to be looking for death or you will find him. Some of it's human characters are Harry, dick, Tom and the old man. It's human characters are a feature because if the characters were not human it would be a fable. And a moral in the story is the reason why it's a morality tale. This explains why it's morality tale.

The Nun's Priest story is a fable because of it's animal characters and it's moral at the end. It also has a small bit of of magic, when the old woman turned into a beautiful lady at the end The ordinary person is Amanda who's just a normal girl. It is also set in a realistic setting which is the fields and the castle. A small bit of magic, it has ordinary folk, a normal setting and a lesson at the end. This explains why The Wife of Bath's tale is a folk tale.

The Knight's tale is a Chivalric Romance because it is about love and has a battle at the end. Also it could never happen. The two main characters (Arcite and Palamon) fall in love with Emily. This is the romance part of the tale. As a result of the love between the man and Emily, the two have a jousting competition and the winner get's Emily as a wife. This is the part where the battle takes place which results in the death of Arcite. This explains why The Knight's tale is a chivalric romance.

Disruption: When queen Guinevere finds Sir Codsbrain flirting with Amanda. I think that Queen Guinevere is the catalyst because without her nothing special would happen.

On a hot day, you’ll be happy to have a fan that can oscillate, meaning it moves back and forth in a steady motion.
